The mission of the organization is to improve the lives of Kern County residents by mobilizing and integrating resources for health and human service purposes. This includes convening, facilitating, and funding a variety of partners in the community. The organization also has an interest in the following areas: early childhood literacy, 3rd grade reading, successful emancipation from foster care, financial literacy, job development, affordable housing, and crisis intervention.
