Zero Hunger | Zero Waste: Launched in 2017, this initiative aims to eliminate hunger in communities and waste within the company by 2025. Kroger donates surplus food and funds to numerous nonprofit organizations, striving to create communities free of hunger and waste.
Community Rewards: This program allows customers to support local nonprofits by linking their Kroger shopping cards to the organization of their choice. In 2023, customers directed over $40 million to eligible nonprofits through this initiative.

History shows that 58% of their giving goes to Social & Human Services, almost 11% goes to support Education and 10% goes to Community Development category.

$95,000 for Feeding Children Everywhere;
