History shows that almost 25% of their giving goes to Community Development, 21% goes to support Education and 18% goes to International Giving category.
Grants in recent years include:
$700,000 for New Venture Fund;
$240,000 for Foundation for Civil Society;
$100,000 for International Civil Society Centre Gumb;
$225,000 for Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University;
$220,000 for Every Texan;
$133,333 for Southern Africa Resource Watch; and
$100,000 for Article 19.
Activities supported by foundation grants must be charitable, educational or scientific under the provisions of the US internal revenue code and the treasury regulations.
