Procedure:
Please submit an initial query letter, including:
A completed application form
A concise resume of the project applicant
Three letters of reference or support. One letter must address the religious/spiritual component of the project. If the application is for studies, one of these must be from a proposed supervisor or academic advisor.
A sample piece of the applicant’s writing, preferably on the subject itself.
Optional: Supporting documentation or video would also be helpful to include.
Those wishing to apply for funding, should keep in mind the following: Funding is limited to one third of the total cost of the project.
Trustees will expect to see co-funding being sought or available before considering the project.
The Segelberg Trust wishes to assist in professional development of church workers (Sunday school, lay ministers, musicians, priests) in their study and research projects – especially those of significance.
Funding for projects may only be offered for three consecutive years.
Applications must be received by December 1.
