Procedure:
An application form is available from the foundation. Before this form is sent to a non-profit organization, the foundation must receive a written request on the organization’s letterhead or stationary. It must include:
name, address, telephone number, and contact person
brief description of the organization’s history, objectives, and activities
a brief description of the programme or project for which funding is requested
charitable registration number
A brochure outlining guidelines and application dates is available upon request.
It is important to note that the foundation’s board meets twice a year, normally in June and December. Applications for funding should be received well in advance of these meetings. The board of directors makes all final funding decisions.
