Programs

Feinstein Jr. Scholar Card: This program rewards children aged 4 to 16 for doing good deeds by offering a special card that grants access to various free and discounted experiences. Benefits include a free 4-week Confidence Course at Mastery Martial Arts, up to two free visits per year to Mystic Aquarium with an adult, one complimentary admission per year to the Providence Children’s Museum, a free day pass with gear at any Rock Spot location, and four free carousel rides plus a popcorn at the Slater Park Looff Carousel for children up to age 13.
Golden Ticket Contest: At the start of each school year, each Feinstein Jr. Scholar receives a uniquely numbered Golden Ticket. Weekly drawings select winners who help direct a $5,000 grant to their Feinstein Leadership School and a $500 grant to a nonprofit or their school. Winners also receive a surprise gift package, with announcements made on WPRI Channel 12 and the Foundation’s online platforms.
Feinstein Leadership Schools: The foundation partners with over 200 elementary and middle schools in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts that integrate service learning into their curriculum. These schools encourage students to engage in good deeds and foster a culture of kindness and civic responsibility. Schools interested in becoming part of the network can contact the Foundation directly.

Grants

History shows that 50% of their giving goes to support Education, almost 21% goes to Social & Human Services and 12% goes to International Giving category.
$20,000 for Vartan Gregorian School;
$24,479 for Borderlands Food Bank; and
$21,871 for P E F Israel Endowment Funds.
