Procedure:
Guidelines must be reviewed prior to submitting a request. All requests must be made in writing. Please include the following information within your proposal:
Charitable registration number
Statement of organization’s structure, mandate, and goals
Most recent audited financial statement
Names and outside affiliations of board of directors and officers
CIBC Wood Gundy and CIBC World Markets employee involvement
Details and time frame of project
Statement of sources of funding from other sources
Recognition plan for donors
Previous IBC Children’s Foundation support
All requests for regional charities should be made directly to the CIBC Wood Gundy office in your community. All requests for national or Toronto-based charitiesshould be sent to the Foundation office.
Proposals are reviewed approximately once a month and it may take up to or more than 60 days before a decision is made.
Donation requests are reviewed between the months of February and September each year. Requests that are sent in outside of this granting period will be held over until the next granting year begins.
