Procedure:
Guidelines must be reviewed prior to submitting a request. Applicants should contact the foundation staff before submitting a Grant Application Letter to discuss their potential project. Please visit the foundation website for a complete list of staff contact information as different programs have different contacts. Staff will give you guidance about your group’s eligibility to apply for a grant, and can help with ideas for project development and proposal writing.
The Community Grants Program, Neighbor Grants Program, and Stepping Stones Grants Program all have detailed application guidelines on the foundation’s website; application forms are available online and can be submitted by mail, email or fax.
Community Grants: Application Deadline – March 2 and September 2 of each year.
Neighbour grants: Application Deadline – continuous intake.
Stepping Stones grants: Application Deadline – due the 1st of each month.
