Procedure:
Guidelines must be obtained prior to submitting a request. Application forms for both the Community Growth Fund and the Special Projects Fund are available on the fund’s website. There is no application process for the Relationship Fund as recipients are pre-selected by the HYDRECS Committee.
Applications must be sent in by mail as only hardcopy submissions are accepted. Provincial requests should be sent to the Vancouver office while regional applications must be sent to the nearest regional office, contact information for these offices are available from the fund’s website.
Please note the following funding restrictions:
Programs that receive Special Project funding must be based in British Columbia. They must also be accessible to all residents in the province or the specific region in question.
Agencies may apply for the provincial project and a regional project in the same year. Please submit separate applications for each initiative.
A charity that has received Special Project funding from HYDRECS must wait five years before applying again in the Special Project category.
An agency that has received Community Growth funding from HYDRECS must wait two years before applying again for funds from this category.
The Special Project Fund deadline is March 15th of every year.
The Community Growth Fund deadline is May 15th of each year.
