Procedure: Please contact the foundation directly to discuss your project. If the project is suitable, the grants coordinator will request a letter of intent (up to two pages). Full application by invitation only. Preference for funding will be given to projects that:
Benefit inhabitants of Abbotsford and the immediate area
Encourage the efficient use of community resources
Demonstrate new approaches and techniques in solving community problems
Deal with underlying problems in society
Eliminate duplication of services among organizations
Promote volunteer assistance
Improve agencies’ management capabilities
Stimulate donations from other funding organizations through matching or challenge grants
Applications must include the following information:
A demonstration of fiscal and management responsibility
Your organization’s most recent annual report
Most recent audited financial statements
Project budget or cost estimates
Provide a report of the project upon completion
Grants will be valid for a period of two years.
